I was hoping to get some photo's of it but it clouded up here and doesn't look like I'll be able to. It should make some great photo's next to the moon. But we do have a good one coming up this fall.
I live in Oxford, CT, which is the southwestern part of the state. On Saturday night (March 9) it was clear here and I tried to see it, but couldn't. It will be partly cloudy on Wednesday the 13th, but I will try again.
There is lots of information on UHH about this comet and the brighter one coming in November. Just do a search on "comet".
I tried last night. Didn't realize there was such a short window and that as it got dark, the comet would disappear. It really looked neat. Will try again tonight, Tuesday, and this time, I will be ready before the sun sets.
