My wife can predict weather patterns better that the weather channel...she feels rain 2 days out...anybody have a similar experience???.
We have tracked barametric pressure, patterns...but her old aching joints are a good predictor.
I broke my wrist when I was a kid and it never set right. Now it hurts within an hour or so of a thunderstorm. Without fail.
This has made for good entertainment with my friends. There have been times there was no storm in the forecast, I would tell my friends its going to rain, to which of course they say I'm crazy - then it does and they're flabergasted.
I love science.
My arthritis lets me know a day or two depending on how bad it is. :-(
I have very bad arthritis in my upper back (cant even say the name of it lol) but it will let me know when a storm is on the way about the same as your wife. The pain get stronger as it gets closer.
I have a hat that tells me the weather when I remove it.
My sons knees use to be very accurate. He stopped drinking mountain dew and his accuracy has dropped way off. Apparently the "dew" was exasperating the joint pain
Cluster headaches- usually 4 days at a time - here in so. california.
It appears to be barometer change related...I'm also prone to altitude sickness...now there's a REAL headache!

I though my car was paid off. but when I went out this morning I see there was a little dew on it.
When my kids were young and got a fever I could feel their forehead and tell their temperature within a tenth of a degree.
