How many spiders

These where taken in the backyard on the pine bark mulch.
Not sure if there True Macro so didn't go there.
Nikon D50 with Tamron 90mm Macro (old version), hand held half pissed, I find tripods the biggest hindrance in any nature photography. The only time I use one is at home inside on corals in the aquarium, & using a lightbox.

Them babies are 3 to 4 deep.

Don't like spiders, but great shots all the same

Even appearing creepy and crawly to many, I think the one aspect of these marvelous photos that transcends all else is the image of a mother and her babies. With the help of an entomologist friend of mine, and a little determination, I have come to develop a new respect for spiders.
