Absolutely superb shot. You can see why people have the idea that owls are wise, look at that face. I take my hat off to you for a wonderful capture.

great pics a few marks on first pic if you use the blemish tool on elements they are very easy to remove still great shots jamm

It was snowing in the first picture. I shot with a 300mm lens and the depth of field makes the snowflakes look out of focus. Thanks for the comments. I will clone out the spots before I print it. (The owl was about 25 feet away).
