I think they are both nice but, in the second one, maybe, just maybe , you should have only done the white outline on the bottom of the picture, reason being, at tis in just my thought,, I get the impression that you may have slipped at the top , because of the cloud's that are in the picture, to me it almost looks as though it's all part of your design and if it were , well then to me it looks over done because the cloud looks to be part of it....

I see what you mean Tom - the white splodge of the clouds was in the original picture but it does look as though it is now part of the raggy framing - better luck next time maybe - I still like it though Lol!!!

Hi Rathyatra,

The last one is the old promenade hospital.

I was a patient there many many many years ago.

Nice photo, brings back memories

Thanks for posting

That is unbelievable - it was left abandoned for a number of years and it was a shame to see such a magnificent building go to waste. It used to be used for a period of years as basically a car park which we used when we visited Southport before we moved in 2001.
The flats or apartments ( as they are now called ) are very expensive and we wondered whether they would be let when they first opened. But they have sold well and a number of rich footballers have moved in and proved the investment was worth it.
It is good to see the building is now being used rather than left abandoned as so many others of a similar character have been over the years.
It is a small world - so when did you move to the U.S.?

We moved to the USA in 2004 and got welcomed by three hurricanes, very scarey!

I was born & raised in Formby just down the coast.
