It's a clever interactive video made in Adobe Flash. The intro segment plays and then loops around with the guy standing there swinging his arms...
if the cursor gets into range, the flash program hides the actual cursor, and provides an overlay to the animation of the guy jumping up and grabbing the "cursor" video.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you will be able to enjoy these kind of clever animations in HTML5... in about 5 years!
