A few more for fun. If you haven't guessed, I am partial to B&W's. Not my best but still playing around with settings.
As always, Open to critique, re-edit by others, & conservative criticism.
Rather than making suggestions to you about your settings, or contrast, or sharpness, etc. I'd like to just encourage you to keep on exploring your art...don't allow anything to discourage you!
I am always interested in others more experienced. Always looking for suggestions. I respect your humble words indeed & thank you for those valuable words. No matter how simple or poor the subject may be in a presentations, you are are correct in the fact they are one's self artistic expressions. A grand reminder for us all to keep in mind. Thank you for words that edify.

I also love B&W...keep posting!
I'm curious what effect you were going for in #1 - this guy looks like Monday Morning! I am partial to tack-sharp B & W with a lot of contrast, and even on the dark side . . . like tainkc's recent submission . .
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-100885-1.html#3 has superb lighting - I really like the vignette, too -seems to focus the attention into the space between the axes, and run up & down the fretboards.
Seems to be a lot of noise in #2 perhaps your ISO is too high.
Number 1 , you rarely see a guy running around in a Fedora, My goal was to achieve a modern day genre with a touch of old-fashioned Nostalgia He was rough around the edges, unshaven, just thought it would be a unique picture.
Three admit is one of my favorite pictures. It's not the best but I just let it was unique and it was a inaptitude he sat
Number 2 was actually taken with an iPhone. My daughter pointed out the icicles on the bushes, I thought why not take a picture.

He was rough around the edges, unshaven, had a look about him that was interesting, just thought it would be a unique picture. He agreed to the picture but, I suspect he did no expect a camera phone shoved in his face. LOL.
When I am out and about, I try to ensure camera setting are set to high res & burst mode.
Three I admit is one of my favorite pictures. It's not the best i have taken, It was a picture of opportunity during a Rolling Stones cover band performance. I The band itself was awesome. When the show was over, I managed to talk the band into allowing me to sneak in the back stage and snap a few pictures of their equipment but also love of them as well. Hopefully, I'll have more pictures coming in the near future. I am slightly incapacitated right now so slow to move.
