I do not want offend you with my offer but here it goes: $299, noaccesories, via paypal. I have a T2i and use it for astrophotography so I need the articulated screen badly. I am not sure this is what i want to do since I was not planning on another camera, but... hey Its the only reason why I go for it. You don't need ro respond, I will understand your silence.

Sorry, but that is too low of an offer for my consideration.

Hi Hedgehogs,

I just upgraded to a full frame and am selling my T3i. This is a great camera (one year old). Also included are extra batteries (Canon) and a battery grip. In mint condition! Uses EF or EF-S lenses. Let me know if you are interested. I am asking $500 or best offer.

One thing you should consider getting for your Canon is the shutter count.
There are programs available via the web that can read the count. It's like millage on a used car, a must have to consider a purchase.

Good luck

Doesn't work on all cameras. I have a Canon and tried the website that has been referenced here numerous times. Tried it several times and, after uploading the required photos in both JPEG and RAW, it keeps saying my camera is not supported even though the disclaimer in the box says it is.

The program I use doesn't require any uploads because the data isn't in the exif. Where it is, well buried in the camera somewhere. I downloaded this program - it's a pay program (not very much) but once you pay you get permanent access to it for any Canon that's supported.

So I plug in my t1i using the usb cable. Open the program. The program on the web, not on my computer, talks to the camera and up comes the number. By the way it appears this number only includes still shots.

Have you tried EOSCount.com? If your camera isn't supported sorry.

Shutter count is always available in camera. What's how hard to read the count and supposed need for a pay for program? Sounds like a green error, but we are all learning, aren,t we?

Actually, and I don't know why, but Canon hides the count - don't ask because I don't know. I have two Canon dslr cameras and neither one gives me the count without external software.

I've done quite a bit of research on this and I can't find out why Canon likes to hide the count but they do.

I have a 1000D and a 500D. As it turns out it takes two separate programs to read the numbers from both cameras.

It also turns out that for my 500D I've been keeping the photo numbers in sequence and watching the the count. But when I put it on the program it seems the count on camera only keeps track of still photos and not video shutter count... so it's not quite accurate but close enough to keep track.

For all the Canon shooters not aware of "Magic Lantern", in the FREE download there is also the feature of frame count. There will be no questions about frame count then. The real magic is FREE.
