Below is a URL that was sent to me by a friend, who knows how much I love looking at pictures. They were slides that were made into pictues that dates back to 1940. I thought I would share with you.

Show the richness of our country and it,s people and how forgranted we take photography looking at the crude color of those days. If we as people were as rich in our soul and spirit as those people as we are in our photography today, it just might be the better world.

I just had this link sent to me today. I was going to post it but thought to do a search first, glad to see it was already posted. I love these photos. They do give a look into what life was like for our families in those tough times.
