I posted a thread last week telling people what I plan to do on my future Picture Forum Posting. So here is the first one.

This past Saturday the Camera Club of Brevard took a bus Field Trip To Florida Southern College in Lakeland,Tarpon Springs business district, and The Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks to enable us to photograph various subjects. We spent two hours at the college and downtown Tarpon Springs, and rest of the time at Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. I found the trip very enjoyable, and was able to capture some nice images. I spent much of the time taking multiple exposed photos, so I could process them for HDR (High Dynamic Range) photographs. Typical HDR will have more details in the shadow and highlights areas of your photographs, and you'll see more texture in these photos too. The thing I tried to do, is not push the HDR process so would look surreal.

For the Tech Geeks -
These photos were all taken with my Nikon D300S, and I used my Nikon 18-200mm to take all the photos except #9 and #10 (which was the HDR composite) and on that one I used my Sigma 10-20mm lens.

All the HDR photos were taken using my Tripod, and I set up my interval timer to expose them. That kept me from having to use my shutter release cable. On photo #18 and #19 which was the HDR, I just used the trash can to rest my camera on while I was taking these multiple exposures. I took 7 exposures for my HDR photos, and they were set 1 f-stop apart. Lightroom 3 was used to enhance my photos, and used Photomatix to make my HDR composites. Photoshop CS4 was used on # 35 to square off the corners of this photo.

I hope you enjoy viewing them.

Any comments are appreciated.

Arnold
