Taken last week in the cellars of a winery in Herman, MO.
I missed the info on wine making and instead took a few shots.
Let me know what you think. Thanks

I'd say "good on ya" for opting for the photo-op!!
I think your niche is probably more in photography and less in wine-making (although, I love those tours lol)

Excellent perspective.. the color is perfectly saturated... crisp, clear image... composition is spot-on, too!

(Just in my very humble opinion... that is. I'm no authority!)

That was a beautiful picture of Herman Winery, the color was golden. Here is a picture I took of Crown Valley Winery located in Farmington.

I think you did great. I love the rich warm colors of the barrels and the cellar.

Very nice Ron. I like the overall contrast in the shot. Would have done the same, just take the pictures!

Like the warmth and richness you captured in this barrel room and the subtle reflections from the barrels.

Your composition is quite strong, and your exposure is quite close. I think your lighting is a bit too warm, so I tweaked your photo a bit.
I believe that this image would do well for tone-mapping (single image HDR).

Hey Douglass, I was out at Huntington Beach this evening trying to get a few shots of the pier at sunset. Once I get home next week and have a chance to download them do you think you could do some of that tone mapping majic to one or two of them for me too?

I am LOUSY at Post Processing! The minor tweak on this photo was with Picassa/Picnik (both free). I only slightly adjusted exposure, contrast, and color temp.

I do not have PhotoShop or any other advanced program, so I cannot tone-map from single exposure (psuedo-HDR). Sorry.

Look familiar?

I'm working off my laptop and only have the Paint program to resize or edit pics until I get back to NorCal next week; however, This is what I will have to work with once I get to my desk computer. BTW, yes, you picture has a familiar ring to it.

Nice photo! Here are a couple of favorites I took in Germany when I first started shooting with my D300. Still learning...
