"Laid the egg" is pretty clever! You can always add photos to your own posts later, by clicking "reply" to your own initial message, then there will be a spot to add attachments.

Do you have beagles now? Any photos on UHH? I had a fully blond beagle mix (Humane Society rescue) for nearly 15 years. Sweet Monty, with the beagle bray, was mistaken for a yellow lab puppy until he was 10!

Thanks for the tip re. posting Linda. I'm new to this, but learning little by little.

I had beagles from 1955 'till 1975, then from 1987 'till last year. Had to quit because of a bad hip. I still write articles for Hounds and Hunting magazine, plus I wrote the book "Breeding Better Beagles" and have sold about 4600 of them. Yes, I have had "blonde" beagles. (It doesn't matter what color they are, it's how they run a rabbit that counts.)

Hi, Beagleman! I love the tree bark and yes the "egg" is quite cute!

I believe that when you get the 3 pictures on, there is a plce right under the last one that says "add new attachment", but it may go away after an hour, not sure.
But there is the option to "add new attachment"if you hit "reply" as if you are making a comment

That was quite a sunset Jean. It changed so fast that I couldn't get it all.

A quick story about sunrises and sunsets---The first place we were after retirement was a little place on a lake in Northern Indiana where I would watch the sun come up each morning, but when we moved here (to be closer to our family)I said "Lord I'm going to miss these sunrises." Then the first morning here (in the hills of Eastern Indiana) there was a spectacular sunrise! It was as if the Lord was saying "Hey, I can give you a sunrise here too."

Hey Beagleman, I love Indiana. The air is so fresh there because of the evergreen trees. In Bristol and Shipshewana, people use them for fences in many places and there are so many used in landscaping that they purify the air. I had NO symptoms of allergies when I would visit there.

Jo, You can find a little of everything in Indiana. Lots of corn and bean country. Around me some hills and a small college, Taylor University. In Southern Indiana I have back-packed in the Hoosier National Forest and it is an unspoiled wilderness. My little town of Upland got it's name because (supposedly) it is the highest elevation on the railroad between Chicago and Columbus, Ohio. And near the university is a little restaurant called Ivanhoe's which seems to be known by many for several states around.

Travelog over,

Beagleman
