Will the D7000 or D7100 take better photographs than my D3100
What do I really get by going to the D7000 or D7100?
While we are at it what is the real benefit to a full frame vs. the cameras mentioned above.
Thank you

It depends if you take the lens cap off !!!! JK I have the D7000 and think its awesome but of course the cam is only as good as the the person working the shutter !!!
No comparison, D7000 or new D7100 is light years ahead of the D3100

Look at the price of the D3100 and compare it to the price of the D7000 and D7100...that should tell you the story. Full frame vs. cropped? You can make your own judgement.

I think you'll find that most of with D7000s are pretty happy. It remains to be seen if the D7100 is worth the extra outlay.

will my af-s lens work with the D7100
The 7100 and 7000 are not FF cameras. That being said the 3100 is not even a close third

Value for money.... d3100... I have used many older lenses which has tought me to shoot in manual mode with good quality sharp photos.

The D3100 is a great entry level camera. The D7000 is a great semi-pro camera. End of story.
I do not see why anyone would pay to change their D7000 for a D7100. Fols will, though.
A better camera will not make you a better photographer or give you better pictures. I have a D7k and my wife has a D3100 and sometimes I prefer to use her camera as it is just better for the job at hand. There is no difference between them as far as IQ is concerned unless I am doing very low light / high ISO work.
