He hates when my focus is on him..but he's such a muse:)
What kind of camera are you using? Are you trying for the effects in these image? The color image skin tones are way off but if this is the effect you were going for then I will not say more.
They are all noisy and grainy too.
I like the oversaturation and high contrasty colors and black and white.

Looks like the Walking Dead I see on my AMC show of the Walking Dead.
Welcome to UHH Rachel, I hope you will hang around a long time. Photo #1 was OK by me, but I am not that fond of over saturated photos. #2 I feel that you have cramped him up on the left side of the photo with no where to go. There needs to be some space in front of where the subject is looking. Now had you placed him on the other side of the picture but still looking in the same direction, I think you would of had a lot better composed photo. Photo #3, I have no clue what you were trying to capture, unless it was the smoke. That came out really good. Keep clicking and posting, the UHH forum members will head you in the right direction. Thanks for posting these 3.
These are compelling portraits! Are you using an iPhone? The compositions show your husband as closed off and private. These are not easily forgotten, and I like that they are unique.
