which iso speed is best

Pardon me for showing my age, but I do not consider 400 a medium speed. My ranges (using standard ISO numbers) would be:

000 - 064: Low speed
100 - 200: Medium speed
400 - 800: High speed

Anything over 800 is in a special use category.

Those were the days.....

With the latest sensor technology, you can jack those speeds up quite a bit for the same result

Low: 50 - 200
Med: 250 - 800
Med Hi: 1000 - 3200
Hi: 6400 - 25000
