Really, really interesting... During this period my father was working for Pan Am as a radioman/navigator out of Miami.. I can still to this day going out to Dinner Key in Biscane Bay and watching the Clippers land or take off... It was quite the sight to see themm land and taxi up to Dinner Key and with one hell of a roar of the engines taxi up the ramp ... Yes , they did have wheels that would lower for taxing on concrete ramps.
