More truth than fiction...................

Very informative, why didn't I see this on MSNBC??
Funny and true.
That line from the Al Green song at the beginning when he was looking in the mirror was Obama himself singing. I was so impressed when I first heard him sing, I tried to get him out of his day job last November. Sadly, I was not successful in that.

You know that your efforts were appreciated by the vast majority of legal voters.

Amazingly high quality. I notice that Politizoid began posting these videos 3 years ago and they all seem to be about Obama more or less. I wonder who would go to the trouble because it can't be cheap.
Could it be a conservative group with money?
Of course, it doesn't matter if it supports your world view.
Some of the video is based on outright lies, and/or exaggeration but it plays to the believers. There is no point in my wasting time in trying to address those as I realize it would be waste of our time.
So, now you should all know that I must be a flaming liberal since I appear to be criticizing either this video and/or your fervently held beliefs. This despite the fact that I am a hand gun owner, fiscally conservative, supporter of the death penalty, etc. Of course, I could list beliefs that again would mark me as a child of satan or I mean liberal.
I use to believe that people have a variety of beliefs that can't all be lumped into one bucket, that can't be neatly defined as good or bad, conservative or liberal. Clearly I am wrong.
There is a reason that the old wisdom that you can't talk politics or religion exists, because it is true.
I find it offensive when anyone be they liberal, conservative or car salesmen lie to me and they all do as do most of us to one degree or another.
It also stuns me that most of us are willing to accept as fact anything we are told as long as it comes from someone we trust be that a news source, pastor, doctor, policeman or politician to name a few and without question.
But then, I guess it is because of my background. In my working life I had three careers all of which had one thing in common and that was a requirement to have to search for the truth and I found that could be a very difficult thing to do and that I could often be wrong or at the very least not conclusive.
In the end, to me, this video, while funny, serves no purpose other than to reinforce beliefs many of which would prove to be false or taken out of context if scrutinized. It is very similar to the avalanche of emails spread around the internet about some outrageous "fact". Emails that on their face sound ridiculous and virtually never stand up to fact checking. However, amazingly, even if their falsity is irrefutable it makes no difference to the believers.
Have a good one and keep on keeping on. After all we are all just killing time till we're dead.

Just wondering. Did you give the same advice in 2001?
As a matter of fact .......yes. Even though the supreme court gave him the election. I worked harder for progressive candidates, gave what little money I could. Same for the second time he ran. Kept hoping that people would stop voting agaiinst their own self interests. Well, the pendelum did swing back. Looks like people have woken up . But then again, who knows. Might swing back. I'm a first generation American from a northern European background. We're people think that we are all in this together. Democratic socialism isn't a bad word...........and to think Obama is a socialist is hysterical . He's the farthest thing from it ! but , what does it say about our society, that a person can work hard all his life , and have one major illness , and lose his home. Every industrialized country has single payer national health health insurance. But , we 're too ignorant to realize , that it is the only way to go. I was at my doctors today, and even he said , it will have to end up that way. Present system can't go on. Henry
