thatks im new to this i took hundreds to get this one good one trying to figure out new camera only had it 1 year now

The males resemble the females when in non-breeding plumage. Since they nest mostly in Canada, Alaska and Greenland, and they molt into non-breeding plumage starting in March/April, we don't usually see them in non-breeding. You might have some in Maine, though.
