RTR... thanks... I actually have thousands of pictures and I deliberately set the date stamp so I can keep track of when they are taken, I suppose I should use a journal or something else...but I was hoping to be able to play with the photos that i really like and later through some program remove the date stamp just to make a more professional copy.....keeping the stamp on the original one that I have in my computer. I know....I do keep them in folders with the date on the folders....just guess I like to remember exactly when i took them. I used a Nikon D80 for the old building I also have a canon Rebel EOS T2i

If you check "properties" on the file, it will tell you the date, time and anything else you could possibly want to know about the picture.
JeanneO, what software/technique did you use to get that black background?
I used PSE3 and used the magic tool to select the backgrounds and colored them in. The right side of her face and the wall were too close in color for the magic tool so I colored freehand to clean it up a bit. I just noticed how badly I did the white one :-( I wil clean it up some more if you want me to.
How about one of these? If you like them, post the original again and click the store original box and I'll be able to do a cleaner job of it. If anyone has a winter type background, that may help... I live in Florida, so no snow for me :)
