Glad to see that you are still doing great golfing and greater photos. So sorry to hear that you have had to deal with heart problems. Hope there is no severe damage and you are all well.

Yes, I am still somewhat alive. I have missed all of you. Much of the time since the 2016 flood I have not been in a permanent place so had no internet. Like me I am sure that many wondered if my house would ever get finished and life "back to normal". They finished my house on 11/1. Two mornings later I walked into my kitchen and found that I was walking on water. After 6 weeks the leak was found and new flooring was ordered. So this week they have been changing out the flooring in the entire downstairs. It took forever to find the leak (and $1180) which was in the wall behind the refrigerator in a 1 inch brass fitting which was defective. So finally the insurance is paying for the flooring. Currently they are half finished with the new flooring.

I am trying to catch up on UHH and what is going on with you all. So good to see new folk and wonderful to see old friends. I hope you are all well and have had no disasters. My weatherman says it is cold in the upper part of our nation. We had frost this morning and it was/is cold to me. I have not photogrphed since the flood, but I hope to get something posted shortly. Love to each of you.

Have you tried using the paint brush in RAW? Select the paintbrush at the top of the AC RAW on the opening page. Then select the color you would like and paint over what you don't like. I think you might achieve the same result using the dodge tool, but it would take some time to get the exact color you would like.

Hello, Old Friends. Believe it or not my house renovation from August 2016 is nearly completed. I unpacked some dishes and such today. I am really tired of paper plates. The care with which my friends wrapped and packed my dishes is touching. Today I opened the last photos I have taken (other than with my phone) since the flood. Just before it hit I had been to Florida, down the east coast and up the west coast. When I saw this photo I just laughed at the duplicate of the egret. Lakes or otherwise, I look to the skies. Photogirl, so nice to see you again. Thanks everyone for your prayers-all were needed and appreciated.

Pat, I believe that today is a day of celebration for you and yours. Happy, Happy Birthday!!!!

I cannot study all these great photos tonight, but hope to get back soon. My house should get finished next week, if all goes well. Just 24.5 months after the flood. I can honestly say that it has been a gigantic nightmare, but I am still standing-well, most of the time. I still relive the Maine Palooza. Such a great time meeting everyone.

Again have a great day!

Tthat is true. There was no storm or other natural disaster. It just rained and rained, I think it was 40 inches in 2-3 days. The over flow of the rivers caused them to flow backwards. I have lived there 47 years and never flooded. It was shocking to see the water rise so fast. In juct 3-4 minutes I went from dry to flooded 2 1/2 ft throughout the house.

I am so sorry to hear this Emang. Seems there should be no excuse for this lengthy "affair" to get your house back together (for those who don't know E Mang - she has been a regular on UHH and her home fell victim to Katrina - and that tells you how long she has been dealing with this!)

Pat, actually it was the flood of 2016. Katrina was 10 or 12 years ago. Thanks for the goo thoughts.
