The first one of Grave's Creek is absolutely beautiful - almost like a painting.
Lovely sharp bright bee photos.
I also prefer the first one, as it shows the thistle in its natural environment, and has LESS processing.
Thanks for all your helpful suggestions.
Your piano is similar to mine. Good Luck, and I'm sure you will have many happy hours playing it.
Thanks for all your quick replies. I wasn't happy with the photos that I took, so I will try to play around with it. Almost every photo that I take is an experiment, and I'm constantly amazed at the different ways of photographing the same subject! Many thanks again!
Glitzy & patterned surfaces will reflect light in many different ways such as Christmas wrapping paper. Flash doesn't work out well, as it creates too much light in one spot, so I put the object in the shade. A bright gold color turned out green in some places. What is the best light for these types of photos?
To All who replied: Thanks for your input.
That sounds reasonable. Thanks for your input.
As an amateur photographer, what is legal, and what is not? As I am not selling the photos, nor using them commercially to sell a product, can I put them on the internet without seeking permission? Many people do, and sometimes I wonder whether or not that is OK. I'm talking about pictures of real estate, a house, car, possession, book, magazine, or another already published item, not people pictures. What do you say?
I'm sure these photos could be edited in many different ways. Sometimes you just have to play around with your editing tools to get the look that you want.
I agree with you on the family portraits pictures. Perhaps you could tell someone in the family to do some polite gestures, and guide them toward the photo that you would like. It's better than everyone standing around as though they are posing for a photo! canpic
Beautiful colors in this abstract!
