If you want to use Topaz , Topaz Labs recommends a video card comparable to the Nvidia RTX 3060 to handle their programs . Also depending on how many photos you have you Amy want a hard drive 1 TB or larger . Dell has on that’s meets these requirements for around $1200 . Always buy more because you will eventually need it . The Topaz website will give you the requirements for their software.
I have a large collection of street art. I usually never have a problem. For the most part people do not object. I use a 18-200 lens to be more discreet. I never intentionally photo children but if there are kids in the background there is nothing you can do. No one takes a photo without a 100 kids in the background.
I am buying a new computer, going from a lap top to desk top . I use Topax so OpenGL is important. Best Buy cant tell me . The unit I’m looking at is a Dell XPS with Nvidia GeForce 3060 and a 12 gen intell core i7 - 1227 processor. Would anyone know from this info.if this would run Topaz software Thanks Bob
The OPEN GL is just as important as all the other features . For example Topaz Impressions require an OPEN GL of 4.2 or higher ( I think ) . If you don’t have it your programs won’t run . Always check the system requirements before you buy and Make sure your computer has the capacity to run it.
When you purchase software you need to read the specs. Your pc has to have OPEN GL high enough to run The program . I believe Topaz Impressions has to have OPEN GL 4.2 or higher . Regardless of your pc power if you don’t meet these requirements the program will not run.

Downloaded it last week . Somewhat of a learning curve but the masking is cool. My issue was that none of my presets worked . Adobe tried for an hour and no luck . The rep told me they were swamped with calls . I had them put back the last update , he also said wait about a month until the bugs are worked out then download it .
