Lightroom help desk

Hello HH brothers and sisters,

I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows of a Lightroom help desk? I'm having catalog issues after changing to a new iMax. I was wondering if there was a Lightroom help desk that would be able to log on to my desktop to see what's going on.

Thanks

Although Adobe has the capability to log into your computer for assistance, the tech's are not as knowledge as I would expect. It took 2 hours the other day to correct a simple problem had the tech used Lightroom Classic he would have directed me to the solution in 5 minutes.

In addition to the direct, employee based support system mentioned here, Adobe also sponsors a forum system. There is a forum for each product and skilled users help solve challenges for other users. Included is a system where Adobe appoints some users to being "Adobe Community Professionals". There are about 300 worldwide. Most earn a living in some graphics related business and participate because they like to help and, while they are at it, they continuedly expand their skills. They also receive a full Adobe subscription gratis.

They do not log onto your computer but answer in a format similar to UHH.

I am one of them for my participation in the Premiere Elements forum. I also try to monitor and help with the Lightrooms forums. It is great fun!

The Lightoom Classic forum is at https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/ct-p/ct-lightroom-classic?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all&tabid=discussions&topics=label-featurerequest

Creative Live and Ben Wilmore have a LR forum such as UHH but it is more focused and gives reliable info. Sorry but I've lost the web address but you can google it.
