Our new house in 1995 came with a GE over the stove microwave with no turntable. We sold the house in 2022 and it was working just fine at 27 years old.

A few years back I downloaded a software program to watch recorded Tivo shows on a computer. I don't recall the name but you should be able to find it using Google.

The new format is horrible! There is no order or logic to it. I will not be clicking on Latest Digest anymore.

I can never capture the moon as it looks. Any suggestions?

I just happened to shoot the moon last night. I used an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II with an adapted Nikon 200-500mm lens at 500mm. The adapter allows me to auto focus. Aperture mode, F8, ISO 200, WB auto, EV -1.3, Spot Metering. Handheld, but I braced the camera on the side of my house. There will be nights where you cannot get a clear image of the moon because of the atmosphere. On those nights I just quit and try another night. I also have a Nikon D610 and use the same settings when shooting the moon with the exception of EV which is usually around -1.0.

I got an email about the Oak Island TV show. "Digging in the wrong place?" Are they kidding?! They've been digging in the wrong place for ten years! On the plus side, everyone involved has found "treasure" through the TV show.

If you watch the show, you know that they occasionally mention the former slave who was a farmer there. They say that he suddenly became very wealthy. It sounds like he found whatever treasure was buried there.

That is what I always thought. The show has mentioned it several times.

From your OP:

Sounds to me like they are claiming the software causes errors but I guess that was not the case. Now I am sincerely regretting even trying to make a helpful suggestion to go back to the source and ask them to clarify what they meant. Why bother to do that when you can post here and get dozens of opinions from people who are just guessing?

I did ask them and they have not responded.

Why not send another email to them, cv their mail and add something like

“Will you please provide more details? I have checked shutter count on mine and it seems accurate. If there are errors I would like to know how and when they can occur”.

There are no errors that occur. Like I stated earlier, UsedPhotoPro does supply shutter count on Olympus Mirrorless cameras. If a seller doesn't want to state shutter count...I'll just buy from a seller that does.

I've never used MPB and they may be fine, but periodically it seems people have some issues with them. I buy used equipment from Roberts usedphotopro and highly recommend.

Agree. I bought my last used camera from UsedPhotoPro.

Are they possibly saying “software causes error” because the result is not totally accurate.

I don't know. Used Photo Pro (Robert's Cameras) shows the shutter count for their Olympus mirrorless cameras. I did a Google search for errors in Olympus cameras when obtaining the shutter count but nothing pops up as to what MPB is alluding to.

I am going to chalk it up to "we don't have the time".
