I’ve had an Epson P800 for several years now. I print about once every month or so and have never had a problem. The first print has always been good even after several months sometimes. I also use Imageprint and have quite a selection of paper from Epson, Canson Red River and Hamermuhle.
I make sure my monitor is calibrated first and keep lighting in the room constant with a gray light blocking shade over my window. Then I print using Imageprint to the paper of my choice for the particular photo. Eg. Red River, Epson or Hamemule. So far I have not needed to do a reprint due to bad color or brightness. I know it is pricey but for me worth the no hassle printing on a variety of papers.
With Windows 10 pro you can have control over all your updates.
I’ve had an Epson P800 for 2 years. It’s idle for a month or more sometimes and the next when I print I have never had a bad print.
Does the updated Collection work on a 4K monitor. With the previous free version from DXO the dialogs are too small to see.
Check out F-Stop backpacks.
I have the 2017 XPS with the 4K screen and it works great with Photoshop and LR. No problems with icons etcetera except for the Nik plugins from DXo. I’ve calibrated the monitor even though it was quite accurate to begin with. I print via image print wirelessly and I get great results.

My Epson XP850 get used about once a month and has never clogged.
My vote goes for the Epson XP 8500. I have a previous model and have never had a clog or any problems. It uses Claria inks.

I like the Olympus Tough Tg-4. It is completely waterproof and has macro and zoom capability. It also would fit in your pocket.
