Paint shop pro has a Raw Lab for editing raw photos, it also has some HDR features for multiple shots of same subject. They are constantly improving the Raw processing, probably not as good as photoshop, but for the cost it is worth it. I usually don't shoot in raw, but I have tried it a few times.

I have been using Paint Shop Pro, now owned by Coral company. It is easy to work with, and I like it much better than photoshop elements. You can go as deep into this software as you wish, genereate scripts, use layers, filters. The clarity adjustment is remarkable. For most photos I just use levels, and if needed the clarity adjustment. Vibrancy adjustments are also very good. A full blown Paint Shop Pro is about $80, but they are always offering discounts. This is a really great and professional editor that is intuitive to use.

Hi, First of all, very nice photos. The 2nd photo however is not Island in the Sky, but is Dead Horse Point, a Utah State Park. Island in the Sky is about 15 miles further down the road in Canyonlands National Park. :-)

And don't forget about Monument Valley and Lake Powell areas. I've attached one of Glen Canyon Dam and a couple from Wahweep Marina at sunset.

I have purchased batteries for Canon cameras at Amazon for 3 different cameras. I like the user ratings to find the best battery, most I have purchased have more mah than the canon origional and seem to keep the charge longer. I also purchased an oem charger, forget it, Canon charger works much better.

I usually do at least some minor post processing, adjust levels, maybe vibrancy. My camera (Canon SL1) does a pretty decent job so I find most photos only need minor touchup. But on occasion, I do quite a bit more. I use Paint Shop Pro for my editing, a lot of features, reasonable software cost.
