You definitely want Helicon and Helicon remote. The remote version does the rail function via the software. There's several tutorials out there showing how to use and what it does. Much better than trying to do it with PS.

Beautiful especially the last one with what appears to be a mother feeding her young.

No, same pair of birds as the first. A little spring time action!

I took my 150-600 to Africa and fell in love with the results. I adapted a clamp to secure it to the Land Rover to stabilize the lens.

Hi Tom,
Yes, I've taken some great wildlife shots with this lens.

System boots faster and individual programs load faster. By how much is difficult to say.

I went from 1 minute load times for PhotoShop CC to less than 9 sec up and running on a SSD. Similar results in system boot up times. Something isn't adding up if you're not noticing dramatic speed differences. Just my opinion.

I installed the SSD today. Why is it never as easy as they show on YouTube. Dell cable lengths made it more of a challenge than it needed to be. As to ON1 performance, it loads a little faster. However..... going from Browse to Edit, loading the RAW file isn't much (if any) faster than before. I think I'll sit on it for a while before I jump on that GPU.

Does your system boot up faster with the SSD?

I agree with the SSD comments. I installed a Nvidia Quadro P5000 video card to replace the Geforce GT635 in my I7 16gb system and didn't see that big of a difference speed wise. I then installed this SSD and it was a night and day difference. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1382499-REG/samsung_mz_76e1t0b_am_860_evo_1tb_internal.html

If you had glare and a blown sky, then b&w was the perfect choice IMO. This is beautifully composed and edited. And yes, from having lived in central-eastern WA since 2002, I can attest to all the visitors who go away disappointed when the lady doesn't show herself

Hi Linda,
Yes, we were in Seattle for 4 days. The first 2 you couldn't see the mountain. We had scheduled driving to Paradise on the third day. When driving down I-5 she appeared and it was awe inspiring. Thanks for the comments and yes b&w allowed me to bring out much more of the detail.
