I use a Canon Pro 100 and print mostly 19x13 prints with excellent results. I use inks from T surplus which are much cheaper than Canon and I see no difference. Red River is a good paper source. You can get a sampler pack which contains most if not all of their papers and you can decide which you like.

can anyone tell me why a photo of the Rhine River is one of the most expensive photos ever sold. To me it is quite ordinary and uninteresting.

Take the print head out and puy a drop or two of windex on the clogged colors and that should fix the problem

Today I was going to print a few Christmas photos on my Pro100 and they came out with a lot of reds and no blacks, grays, etc. so I knew I had to run a nozzle check. The nozzle check showed that none of the Group 2 inks were coming through (black, grays, cyan). So I ran a cleaning cycle on this group, followed by another nozzle check....no change. This was followed by 2 deep cleanings and nozzle checks and still nothing shows in that group.

At this point, two of my inks are down to the point that they will soon need replaced, and I don't have a spare lt-gray to replace it. This problem has happened twice before and I was able to get it going after a deep cleaning.

Any ideas what I should do now? Do I need a head replacement?

I may be stupid, but I am still confused. Every time I exit LR it asks if I want to backup the file. I usually answer yes. My question is where does that file go and how do I retrieve it. I of course also backup all pictures to an external drive.

[I most recently used Jacada but have used And Beyond as well. They will tailor a safari to you and your budget. I recommend Tanzania and Kenya or South Africa and Zimbobwe. An all around lens is the Tamron 18-400. You diffinitly want a telephoto. These two outfits will keep you away from the crowds.
