I bought my first pentax In 1975 while working on the trans Alaska pipeline it was a spotmatic f and I was 20years old (I was 19 when I started driving truck on the pipeline),I bought a k5 as my first digital and moved up to a k 3 and I also shoot a k 70,I love takumar lenses and I have a tokina 2.8 80 to 200 that I use alot here in alaska,I love pentax!
Thank you so much for your input!already I have a better understanding of the view camera and its processes!
Perhaps living(born and raised) in alaska,my appreciation of it's natural beauty and vastness, that I've become very much protective of the raw beauty that even the simplest of cameras can capture, therefore its environment has not only shaped my personal environment, but my methods as well.but as my love of the photographic arts has grown,so has my desire to know and experience the different methods and procedures that photography has.the genre of photography is broad enough that it will continue to interest my growth from the viewfinder to the darkroom! At 64 years of age and over 5/8inupiat eskimo I am learning all the time.
Thank you for your input sir!
Thank you for your input fellow hoggs!
Ok wow!thanks ! I'll slowly get into the large format and developing but first things first a darkroom built in my basement!
