I think your so right, i've often thought that this way the megapixels war is coming to an end.
I'm not a pro but from my understanding megapixels is not all that important, what kind of glass prime or l series one has on the body i think it is the key up and down the latter. correct me if i'm wrong.
I had the same issue on the front of your modem or router look for a wifi reset button depend what company your with, now setup wifi on the printer within two minutes push the wifi button it should pickup the signal. Oh i forgot hook up the ethernet cable from modem or router to printer first hard wire it will know its there then you can go wireless. Hope it helps.
