I agree it's probably a Damsel fly. Ours are Green with black wings here in VA.

We have hundreds of these flying everywhere. They are an amazing insect up close.

I have a Cannon EFS 55-250mm. 1/500 sec, f/9. I keep the speed high when trying to catch birds that may move at my slightest movement. These Hawks are hard to get close to if they know you are there.

Since I don't have a tele photo lens yet, it has been hard to get close enough to get a shot of the Red-tail hawks in our neighborhood, but this juvenile let me just get close enough to get the detail of his face I have been trying to catch.

The wife and I did some camping on Skyline Drive in Va. and met up with these guys at a overlook.

I live just outside Richmond Va. and these dragon fly like bugs are very active near my house. They look similar to a Dragon Fly but only have two wings and are slightly smaller. I have lived here 60 years and never noticed one till now. Any ideas what it is?

You can see a remote in his hand that sends a signal to a receiver attached to the throttle of the Jet ski. Its surprising that the Jet ski doesn't take off.

I believe this is called Water Board. Went to Lake Anna in Virginia and this fellow was teaching this sport of doing acrobatics with this water jet device that is powered by the Jet Ski exhaust.

Opened my bird house and there were 6 newborns, only 5 are visible. They are only about 1 inch long.

I was focusing my camera on this hole under a tree and when it focused this groundhog was there. The surprise was I thought he was a lump of dirt! He was so perfectly camouflaged I didn't know he was in my viewfinder.
