Who cares how you feel. He has standards and I respect them 100%
Last I looked this was still a free country where you choose to do what you want and not have the government tell you what to do.
What if I only did Mormon weddings? Would you have a problem with this or better yet I only did gay weddings and none others. Would you have a problem with this? I bet you would have no problem with just gay weddings, you are a hypocrite.

Am I correct to assume, that prejudice is OK? What is wrong with disagreeing with other beliefs while remaining tolerant? However, I do accept your right to your opinion. Yet, it is my right to use use your opinion to judge you, and I think you are part of society's problem, and in fact I think you are a self centered asshole. How presumptuous to label differences in religious beliefs as "standards". How presumptuous of you to assume that I would be "OK with just gay weddings" as if that was an insult to me or the gay community. Fuck you and the horse you rode in on. I'm embarrassed to share a forum with you. I'd tell you to suck my dick but I'm afraid you would enjoy it.

Nothing wrong with doing only Christian Weddings.

I find it prejudiced. And for an incorporated business (if he is) a person needs to give up those prejudices in exchange for the other benefits of incorporation. I, personally, think it speaks to character, imposing or punishing others because of ones own beliefs. The religion one assumes is almost always based on where one was born. Middle East: Islam. United States: Protestant 52%, Roman Catholic 24%, Mormon 2%, Jewish 1%, Muslim 1%, none 10% . Columbia: Roman Catholic. Denmark: Lutheran. I realize Christianity is the majority in the US, but his personal beliefs exclude many decent couples. Would he take pictures at a gay Christian wedding?

I've enjoyed many of his posts. But I did find something on his website a few years ago that bothered me. He said that he only shoots Christian weddings. I have not looked recently to see if the statement is still there, but it was once, and every time his name comes up I'm reminded of it. His viewpoint, at least at that point in time, has no bearing on his reviews.

I take a lot of photos of people and am wondering if for individual people - from a depth of field point of view there is an ideal f stop to use as a starting point. Thanks so much for your helpful replies.

Depends on nose length...... :)

I found that long exposure NR made the difference between usable and not. That was on a Nikon D90. I have not tried any night photography with my D500.

It depends. Yesterday I took a couple hundred photos in a darkened auditorium of the grandkids dance recital. Chimping would have been extremely rude. But I checked a few photos at intermission.

And this is one reason camera stores are struggling. You saved some sales tax while the business owner lost money providing knowledgeable staff for you for free. Too many people do that and you'll be lamenting the closing of another camera store.

I heard a story about a college professor that was explaining to his students that English was the only language where there are no known examples of two positive words when used together would have a negative meaning or outcome. One student simply raised his hand and said.."Yeah...Right!"...

Along that same line, a husband bet his wife that she could not say something, in one sentence, which would make him feel both good and bad simultaneously. She responded, "you are better in bed than your brother".

I've been wondering about the tin whiskers that develop because of the lead-free solder being used in lenses now. I've read that the whiskers can cause a short circuit. All of my lenses are still working great. I hope they don't fail.

I believe that problem has been solved. But I do not know the time period of manufacturing where it was a problem. I would not worry about tin whiskers on new electronics.

Better members. There are some real a$$holes here. But look at the bright side of it. If they are taking out their frustrations online they are not screaming at the little kids to get off my lawn.

I took a macro photograph of a kidney stone, and sent it to my geologist daughter. She couldn't identify it. Didn't talk to me for weeks.....

Do you know why cowboys all have the same size balls? So they can borrow each others horse trailers......
