The worst part is trying to plug in one of those cables and you can't find the right one!
Yes indeed, magazines are a dying breed. I always enjoyed Road & Track, and I still get it but it is a far cry from days of old. I think the last issue had one detailed car review, with the cross view and a full page of specs & data. Pictures were always excellent. Now it is reviews on car racing software or sometimes an article I can't figure out what it is about. They had some great editors and writers.... sorry if this is off topic.
Description of how slow the one camera was reminds me of the first 35mm I used was a Practica, and if you tried squeezing the shutter slowly you found yourself without a view, as the mirror came up and the shutter was not yet tripped. How great it was to use a Pentax, who I believe invented the instant return mirror. Or a 2 1/4 Bronica, that had a split mirror, part went down & part up, then shutters covered them, then the shutter tripped and the two shutters went back & the mirrors returned then 4 turns of the crank advanced the film and recocked everything. Then in response to all the noise everyone turned to see what was going on!
I am a fan of cookies burnt around the edges but never thought of using a smoke detector to obtain them. LOL
Worked at a power plant and demineralizer typically treated water to <0.05 microns. One guy took some water home to put in their humidifier. Didn't like the residue from using tap water. The di water didn't work at all because it wouldn't conduct the electricity.
I have a Durst 606 that you could have if you pay the shipping. I always planned on starting my darkroom back up but never did. Has a Schneider-Kreuznach Componon 5.6/80mm lens, nice lens. Enlarger might need some cleaning up but if you send me contact info I could send some photos by email or messenger. I live in Loveland, Ohio.
Always wanted to go to Best Friends, I am z donor too and have read their magazine regularly. As a greyhound fan also want to visit the Greyhound Gang in Kanab. At 77 yo I may not make it but on my bucket list. Great shots! Thank you.
Thanks all. I did another restart and all is well. I will definitely remember the comments above the next time. My aging pc is taking longer all the time to boot. Time to do some shopping methinks.
Windows 10 did an automatic update and I am now unable to see the task bar (I think that is what it is called). I figured it was just off screen but I can't find it. Any suggestions? This is the bar that normally shows up at the bottom of the screen but you can place it on any edge by clicking on it and dragging it to whichever edge you want.
CR latest issue says Canon Pixma G4210 uses 4 tanks and reduces cost of printing to less than a penny a page, compared to over 4 cents a page for others. Ink is $12 per bottle. $300.
As close as you seem to be!
Nice! Curious about the focal length and how far away they were. In my limited experience they don't allow you to get as you seem to be...

I shot with a MF TLR years ago. Whilst the IQ was unbelievable however using it for moving subjects was a pain with the reversed image in the viewfinder. It wasn't long before I sold it and went back to 35mm SLRs.
I had a Rollie and added a prism to get around the reversal thing, but it was heavy! And then you could always use the camera at eye level by flipping the hood front down....
I had an 87 911 Porsche and mice would chew the seat belt! Replaced it and 2 weeks later it was chewed through. Tried moth balls....not good! Had trouble getting rid of the smell and made it difficult to sell. Coffee grounds and baking soda helped get rid of some of the smell. Heard that peppermint oil was a good deterrent but never tried it. The response that said air cleaner was referring to the bundle of stuff the mice made probably came from your air cleaner and you should check it.
Beautiful. I liked #3 The best. Some of them had me wishing for more foreground, but that is az matter of taste. Thanks for sharing.
