Not really. South jersey shore
Good for you. Not much help for me in NJ. Cheers.

Thanks, guys
They look great Steve. I have two new-to-me Nikons, an FE and an FM. I hope I can do half as well. Can you tell us more about the scanning process you used? Thanks.
Growing old does indeed eat đź’©; however, for some reason it remains more popular than the alternatives.
Happy Birthday and many more

Who would ever do that?? I CERTAINLY have never done that! hahaha!
I have never done that, exactly, but I did show up for a shoot only to realize that I did not have my tripod. I was sure I had put it in the car the night before, and I had; but i took the OTHER car the next morning….
Got some decent shots but woulda bin better, and WAY easier, with tripod.
Brillant, BocaMac; best idea so far, especially since it allows for all the other suggestions to come into play. It’s a bit of a drive, but I think worth the trip; thanks.

Hmm, sounds like a good one; thanks for the tip
“Useless” pretty much sums it up, Bill! I think you must be right. I’ll back out, try another way to do this, and then see if I can get my money back — or at least stop the bleeding. Thanks to you, and to all, for their help.
Jim
Hmm, if I understood the question, then no, I am able to import photos from my Mac photo library into Lightoom, without issues. The difficulty comes in resizing them .
Yes, so I understand, but apparently I have a different version, which either does not open in Library, or is very elusive in allowing access to Library. The one you showed looks a LOT more intuitive.
None, or only what the Mac came with/forced me to use to store them. I normally do not edit my photos in any way, except perhaps to crop out an errant body part or background distraction. I normally work in film, with an M7.
That’s very helpful, Bill, and actually great news — means maybe I can cancel it and get some thing that will work. Thanks,
Jim
Great question, CHG CANON. Let’s try that approach —Here’s the instructions I am trying to follow :
To Enter:
To enter, fill out the entry form below and submit a clear image for each entry. The image can be a jpeg, png, or tiff. To resize your image, open it in an image processing program and change the dimensions to between 800–1200 pixels on the largest side. Do NOT submit thumbnails (less than 800×800 pixels). Change the resolution to 72dpi. Make sure the resulting file size is less than 1mb.
NAME YOUR IMAGE THIS WAY (PLEASE): Name your image file BEFORE you upload it to the entry form using this format:
yourlastname_yourfirstname_title
Do not add any other information to your image name.
After that, you also print and deliver a 13x19” print. Max number entries, two; my candidates attached (un-Lightroomed, if that’s a word).
Thanks all, for answering so promptly and frankly.
Gee , thanks; I hope only ever to use it this one time.
