Are you using the same type of paper in each size? If not, does your print driver let you select the type of paper?

Same brand and type of paper and selected on printer driver

The same degree of grain for anything printed on 4x6 paper. If I print a 4x6 on 5x7 paper it prints fine.

Resizing is no different. Could this be a printer issue? Other 4x6 prints also appear grainy

You guys are great. Informative and entertaining. Using a Sony 6500 at the highest quality for pix. Using new Mac with EPson printer. Set at resolution 300 DPI when I print 4x6 the prints are pixelated. If I print a 5x7 or a 4x6 on 5x7 paper the print is fine. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance

Good point. What brand gives the best quality photo prints of all the all in ones.

I have a MAC desktop and want to replace my printer. I would prefer an all in one rather than a dedicated photo printer accepting that the quality will not be as good. Any suggestions or am I looking for a printer that doesn't exist? Thanks. You folks are the best.

As a novice I am intrigued by the length of zoom. Is it a better image when you crop or zoom all other variables the same? I am considering a travel camera in particular either the lumix zs200(24-360 zoom) or the lumix zs70(24-720 zoom). Will cropping compensate for the smaller zoom? I prefer the zs200 because of the 1 inch sensor but I think the long zoom might be better for travel such as a safari. Thanks

Thanks again. Should I take the kit lens 12-60 F3.5-5 or opt for the 12-60 f2.8?

Novice looking for new camera. Can't decide between these two. Is the 4 MP difference significant if I don't plan to blow up more than an 8x10? I photograph grandkids, vacation rare sports or wildlife. Thanks.

with respect to image stablization, is in camera stablization better than in lens stablization? is it even better to have both the camera and the lens with image stablization? thanks, you folks are the best!
