This is the restored slide of the airplane I first soloed in. It was taken in the mid 60s At Fort Knox, Ky. Sweeet memories for sure!
I wish I had the pic of the Cessna 150 that was my first flight, but the N number was N7855Z

This car was parked at a five-star Paris hotel. What do you think this is all about?
The owner has the equipment necessary to ensure the vehicle is NOT bothered.....and isn't afraid to demonstrate it!
Well shot of a beautiful person. My complements to the very attractive subject.

An assortment of this year's themed photos. We had fun, and I learned a lot. As for the Flaming Pumpkin Shots: I've played with theses images six ways to Sunday and the short story is I really need to approach this theme next year armed with what this session has taught me. Still, I thought I'd share some of my edits because it's the witching season. All manipulations are via Light Room only.
More great pictures of a very elegant, comfortable woman. My wife and I think it's a wonderful thing that other women are comfortable enough to share the female form with others. Our compliments on the presentation.

While assigned to the base transient alert, I was fortunate enough to be assigned to reposition several of those monsters on the west ramp for various reasons. The MAC unit did most of the work, but my office/personnel were used for tower coordinating, etc. Being that I was one of the shift leads, I was also fortunate enough to sit in on more than one engine run. (Don't you just Hate it when you are forced to do a job you would almost feel guilty being paid for?)Lol
Most of the guys that struggled with keeping those beasts flying felt the same way about the Galaxy as I did about the F4 Phantoms, the only thing that could replace one C-5 or F-4 was another C-5/F-4.

One of my favorite shots of our Alaska trip.
Good grief, that place has really grown since the last time I was there in 1979!
Thanks for a beautiful reminder of one of my better assignments

OK, I guess that might be a good idea for any future images as well.
The original image was from a pin-up type set taken prior to the 4th of July, sort of a red-neck 4th tribute. It featured my beat up old pickup, some bunting, the pinwheels and the outfit you see here. There was a second model wearing a similar outfit featuring more red.
Of the single model images shot in the bed of the truck, this is one of my favorites. I had it on my phone and was scrolling through filters and thought the result posted had a 1940's recruiting poster look and vibe.
This latest version is straight from the camera.
I guess the point is while I could figure out how to do this in Photoshop, I probably would never have gone in this direction.

I agree that the comments should be of the photos and not of the viewers thoughts about the subject. If it causes the person indignation, as Dolly Parton said in The Best Little Whole House in Texas, "the door's that a way!" >>>------->.
Great photos of a very lovely and desirable subject!!!

Was that taken in Alaska any where near the Russian River and/or the Denali river? I spent 4.5 years (1970-'71 then again '76-'79, compliments of my Uncle Sam.) in the area. That fish is in the last of it's life. When they start the "breeding" return, the Red Salmon (or Sockeye, as it is also called), is a bright silvery, healthy color. After they have been in the fresh water. And are, or already spawned, they become more red color and not as firm, as do most other species. The capture by the eagles and other predators, such as black bears, grizzly bears. They rapidly become not really tasty for human consumption. In any case, a great picture and makes me wish I was still up there.

See, I KNEW there was a private nursing clause missing from the last contract we agreed on! That's the reason you should every paragraph!
Well said! Sometimes, the truth hurts! In this case, your comments and bullet points could not have been more correct. Stand by for the standard replies.

Imagine the warning from the tower when releasing the Southwest 737 in picture ten,
"CAUTION, WAKE TURBULENCE BEHIND DEPARTING B-17"

Hi Folks, when I heard this plane was here on display for 3 days, well I just couldn't sit on the couch at home. Drove out to the airport and got a few shots. Hope you don't mind my sharing a few of my images with you. I did climb through the aircraft, boy what a tight squeeze for this fat man. Then later that afternoon I got a shot of it landing after taking some lucky folks on a aerial flight over Nashville. There is some ghosting of people in some shots. With the harsh/bright lighting I was shooting dark in camera HDR's that I then fixed (brightened) in post processing. Enjoy my friends.

I "upgraded" from a Nikon D60, which I'd been using for about six or seven years, to a D5500 about a year ago and, I'll admit it was partially a fatal GAS attack. Only one regret in the purchase is that about two months later, the D5600 was announced/released.
The D5500 is serving my wants and needs well beyond my expectations. I love the articulated live view screen. It solves some of my height limitations. My only suggestion would be to search for possible refurbished D5600 or a used one. You cannot go wrong with either option. Well, that is my .02 worth. Good luck and keep running up the Shutter Count!
Lol!

In November we will be in Las Vegas and want to decide which photographic side trip to make... Valley of Fire or Red Rock Canyon? Which offers the biggest punch?
I spent 4+ years in Vegas, went to both and I think the Valley of Fire is the winner. Some will disagree, but you understand that. Enjoy!

PS. Better go quickly, as if too many flush at once, the level of the lake will go down lower than it is now. (Sorry , bad joke about a not funny situation. )
