Hi Folks, when I heard this plane was here on display for 3 days, well I just couldn't sit on the couch at home. Drove out to the airport and got a few shots. Hope you don't mind my sharing a few of my images with you. I did climb through the aircraft, boy what a tight squeeze for this fat man. Then later that afternoon I got a shot of it landing after taking some lucky folks on a aerial flight over Nashville. There is some ghosting of people in some shots. With the harsh/bright lighting I was shooting dark in camera HDR's that I then fixed (brightened) in post processing. Enjoy my friends.

Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful pictures. My Father-in Law will be delighted to closely study them. He flew in Lancasters, Wellingtons and Halifax in WW2; He is 96 at the moment.

Kind regards,

George

I believe these flew out of your area. Glad we were able to help you boys out during WWII. Please thank your Father-in-Law for his service to his nation and country.

Great Job. These are great pictures of a great Airplane. I flew a B-17 for two years in Air Sea Rescue. Only difference is we had a 34 Foot boat attached to
the bomb bay, with three 99' parachutes to drop it for rescue purposes. I'm only 94 years old and would love to fly that thing again. Elton Denner
