Once I learned BBF I haven't used any other method, use it for portraits as well, very easy to learn you can use it for any kind of photography, makes it easier to expose for the sky and then recompose on subject, try it and see if it works for you, I will never go back to shutter halfway down

I have the same camera, Google back button focus and set your camera to use it, great tool for sports photography, I don't use anything else but back button focus anymore, even for stills

Rules are made to be broken in art, don't beat yourself up over a "rule", if the image moves you then it doesn't matter, great shot, love the colors

I only have the picture, I would have to sell one of my granddaughters into slavery to be able to afford the taxes on a place like this in NY

Does both, allows me to know where my files are if I need the original raw file but by using collections I don't have to worry where they are, can place the same photo into different collections without going into the files, edit and remove photos without worrying about losing or damaging the raw file, you get both, make no mistake, if you have a lot of photos (I had over 5700) on your computer it pays to organize BEFORE importing into Lightroom, also the instructions you get assume you know and understand files in the computer and already have a system for filing your photos, there are several good systems on You Tube and internet, it pays to learn and plan a strategy BEFORE importing into Lightroom

Moved photos on the computer instead of Lightroom, if you move a folder in your documents Lightroom won't know where it is, once you move it in to a folder in Lightroom you will still have to add it to your catalog, what's really cool is when you store your raw files you don't have to create a separate place for the jpeg file the camera creates for you to view on the camera, Lightroom creates a sidecar file and stores that with the raw file, this way you only need a folder for your raw file

Felt the same way, my problem was I could see the files and they were in the right place but did not "add" them to the catalog, I kept trying to "import" photos to a folder where they already were, once I "add" them from the drive to the catalog problem solved, I also started using collections to edit, you tube collections, easy to use, hope that helps

This was taken at St Francis Xavier Cemetery in Marcellus NY, I am happy that you have found inspiration in the picture, this is a reminder that Jesus died for MY sins, me personally, that if I was the only one he would have suffered the cross for ME, It's hard to comprehend that kind of love, makes the little sufferings we endure every day seem insignificant, Jesus said pick up your cross daily and follow me
