Nikon cameras do have a diopter adjustment, but the adjustment did not go far enough for me. There are many other corrective eyepieces available that can replace the eyepiece on Nikon cameras that range from +3 to -3 that I found on Amazon and B&H that are very reasonably priced. The one I bought works great for me, and I can now read the information in the view finder.
For future, there are many waterproof products you can use to carry your camera, some of which even will allow you to take pictures while protecting your camera. Some products will only protect from rain, some from a quick dunking only. There are even products that will float should you drop the camera in the water. I had a pouch for an SLR that inflated so it floated; saved the camera on a canoe trip, but of course I wasn't taking pictures at the time!
This is a wonderful shot. I think more blur in the background would diminish the image.
I like the shot with the Harly much better!
Unfortunately, firtree has a lot of company; many, many women have run into some real asses. I and my colleagues found as women working in a male dominated field (engineering and construction) that a few men could be demeaning either sexually, intellectually (as in women are not smart enough), or both. Fortunately there were and are so many, many more men that treated us with respect and acceptance, and stood up for us. I will always be thankful for those who gave me the strength and confidence to stand up for myself. I hope the #metoo movement gives all women the confidence to stand up for themselves.
I like the photo, and I think including the fence frames the picture well and adds interest. The thing that might improve it is if you changed the shooting angle so that there was separation between the cabin and fence.
I really enjoy seeing these threads. But could you post the winning image and/or a link to the original post?
Thank you
