Well done. Congratulations on your win. I think the composition was perfect and the color is superb.
What a treasure of history!! Thanks for sharing.
Lots of places to see and things to discover. I live in St Augustine and am still finding more to see and do. Start with the "Red Train" tour of the Old Town..they also have free parking for the day. Parking is $12.00 per day In the multistory public garage. The guides are very knowledgeable as to the history of the ancient city. Many old house's along the way. Well worth the money. You can also get off and on the tour bus as many times as you like. If your a veteran they also offer a great discount off the ticket price.
There is an old cemetery at the edge of town near the visitor center, some time they will have a special exhibit. Be sure you tour the Old Fort, it's a cross the street on the bay. Many things of interest. Go up on the upper level for a wonderful view, you can see across to the island and the lighthouse. Be sure to listen to the rangers lecture on the fort and it's history, everyone that I taken has fallen in love with it.
You could spend several weeks in St Augustine and never see all of it.
I need to also mention the alligator farm. Lots to see and photograph, many different birds along with the alligators and crocodiles. Oh yes be sure to include an umbrella and/or ponchos. When it rains it really pours water off the roofs of the Old buildings. We are still in the Rainey season. Closer to the end of October the less rain and usually less humidity. I almost forgot to mention the St Augustine Wild Animal Reserve. They do tours but you will need to make. Reservations. If your a Golfer you might enjoy World Golf Village museum. Hope that this helps. Send me a PM if you would like more info on the area. I am leaving for a tour to Israel tomorrow morning, but I can get back to you today.
