Using a flash at this distance (600 yds., or 6 football fields) is useless, even with an extender!

Actually their is not that much difference in the quality of both these lenses! What happens, in most cases, is
the person behind the camera not using proper holding techniques and experience fuzzy photos! With this length of lens you MUST stabilize your holding techniques! Usually a tripod or mono-pod is recommended. Good luck!

Almost any advanced camera can do what YOU want from it! Key word. . .YOU... YOU are the composer, it is YOUR eye that sees the composition!
Have fun!

Joining a photo club is fine ONLY if it works FOR YOU! In the last 12 years a group of ABOUT 15 photographers (of all levels) attempted to form just such clubs here in Northeastern Indiana. Both attempts FAILED ! ! ! Why? Simply because the people all had different ideas as to how a club should be run! As a result, in both attempts these differing ideas, caused the clubs to fail ! PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE VERY INDEPENDENT PEOPLE! Maybe in two or three years we can attempt again however, don't hold your breath!

When I was (I think) about 8 or 9 years old I wanted a camera so my Mother started buying Wheaties cereal which had a coupon on the box. I needed three of these coupons plus fifty cents to purchase a camera. It was not make of a material very similar to plastic. I used this camera until I graduated from high school. My Grand Mother bought me an Argus C3 35mm camera for a graduation gift. That was 64 years ago. . .I still have that Argus C3 and will never part with it!

The Ringedneck pheasant is not native to the Americas! It was imported from Korea back in the 1800's.

How much are you asking for this D-90?
My oldest son already has a D-90 but, wants a backup body and additional lenses. He may be interested.

I was a wedding photographer for 40 years and up until about 15 years ago I had no problem with other (with cameras) not taking photos while AI was working. However, with the onset of digital cameras etc., etc., I started having many problems with others with these camerasl at weddings. I attempted to be very polite when asking them to PLEASE do not take photos while I was working. . .to no avail! So, I simply stopped photographing weddings!
