16 to 32 ram, remember memory upgrade after purchase is near impossible. Call B&H photo in NY and talk it over with them. All retina displays are easy on my old eyes. I have a 16" MacBaook Pro, a bit heavy at 5 pounds, 13" AirBook, light portable Mac with a small screen, and a desk top Mac. All with big storage and lots of Ram. Never a crash or malware worries.

Don't know who's Navy you were in, but my youngest son was in the US Navy (20 years)and never used the word"tit", but called them breasts and "boobs". The time I spent in the Army, yes the US Army, as a medic, the same was true there.
