Great work. I really enjoyed the lighting in #3.
2nd one. The red background brings more contrast to the subject.
Very impressive photos with the D5. Curious as to what lens and aperature was used with the ISO of 16000 - 20000.

Beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing.
Great shots! Love going to PCB on the off season. You have the whole beach practically to yourself. Love the ominous sky in #8. Very nice series.
I now live in Abq and go to the Balloon Fiesta yearly. It has been 6 times now. I am in awe each and every time. I usually attend at least 1 Dawn Patrol and stay the day. To me, one of the things that make Abq Balloon Fiesta special, besides the number of balloons that will launch in a day 100-200, is that the crowds are allowed down on the field along with all the balloons and field crews of the balloons. It is not uncommon, if you are able and willing, that a balloon crew may ask your assistance during a launch. The field is flat, grassy, and larger in length than 3 football fields. For Dawn Patrol, I have captured some wonderful shots with my 50mm 1.2 . As the morning progresses and the sun rises, I switch over to my 70-300mm. I have never had any issues with switching lenses on the field. The crowds will be 80,000-100,000 a day. They say that it is the most photographed event in the world. A few years ago Canon became its major sponsor. I have a Nikon D700 and D7000. For my wide shots to capture the large amounts of balloons I use my 11-16mm Tokina DX. I have too many pics to post here. Check out my instagram @Romeoabq.
Great shot ! Whatever you did for this shot. . .keep it up 👍
