You brought me back. I also had a tonneau cover that covered the "back seat" and the passenger seat when needed. And the electric overdrive was great when passing someone and you dropped out out of gear with a flick of the switch. You would go by with a roar. Thanks for the memories!!! - Bruce

I believe the second photo is a 100 model, not a 100-6. The 100 model was 4 cylinder. I had a 1957, 100-6, that was 6 cylinder. It was a wonderful, fun car.

A friend had one back in the fifties. The doors slide forward into the fender cowls. Really unique. I believe the engine was a 6 cylinder Jeep. Only around 500 were made.

The Cuckmere Valley cuts through the South Downs National Park and reaches the English Channel between Eastbourne & Brighton on the South Coast of England.

1- All Saints Church in the village of West Dean partly dates back to Saxon times in the 5th century and partly Norman in the 10th century.

2- The old hamlet of West Dean parts of which date back 1000 years.

3- The Church of The Good Shepherd in Lullington.

The All Saints Church has a rather unusual looking wall in front of it. Do you happen to know what it is made of?

I have always found your photos extremely interesting. So much so, that I looked up information on Goa, your location. It is equally as fascinating as your pictures. Keep up the wonderful work.

After looking at the three buildings, it looks like the one on the left was originally an old salt box house and the one on the right is definitely an old barn. It appears the one in the middle is a metal sided shed that was probably squeezed in. Most interesting photo.

As a beginner with the camera , I always liked Canon because of the amount of information and books that I could find in the book stores. The other brands did not seem to have as much available.

Your photo of the Coke cooler brought back Connecticut memories of long ago. We used to take the bottle caps from the cooler tray, remove the cork backs and stick the bottle cap on our t-shirts by putting the cork back on, with the shirt in the middle. Simple fun.

Without a doubt, an excellent picture. As I recall, cars made in the United States for the Canadian market, used components of various cars. I think that is why there is a mix of Chevy with the Pontiac.

There is a painting by Rudi Hurzlmeier called Krahe that shows a crow walking in boots. Your picture certainly reminds one of the painting. Great shot.
