The Cuckmere Valley cuts through the South Downs National Park and reaches the English Channel between Eastbourne & Brighton on the South Coast of England.

1- All Saints Church in the village of West Dean partly dates back to Saxon times in the 5th century and partly Norman in the 10th century.

2- The old hamlet of West Dean parts of which date back 1000 years.

3- The Church of The Good Shepherd in Lullington.

A very nice series! I especially like no. 1. Thank you for posting. Were you "touristing" there or did you have a special connection with the place?

Thanks Poul, I live in Eastbourne about 5 mile away, so we spend a lot of time walking the valley, right down to the coast where it meets the sea at The Seven Sisters Chalk Cliffs and Beachy Head. Its a really stunning part of England.
