The "Better Beamer" is in a good location though!
States without income tax: AK, FL, NV, SD, TX, WA, WY.
B & H will tell you that the Watson Battery will not work in the D500.
N-Photo magazine got my attention recently when I picked it up to review at a book store. Ended up with the E Edition for convenience and cost. Read it on an I Pad anywhere. As a Nikon user there is more hands on in that magazine.
I like Outdoor Photographer too. Will probably go for the E Edition on that one to for convenience next opportunity.
I have not seen "better Beamer" for anything other than Canon and Nikon.
However, I am sure if you call a supplier like B & H someone could tell you which one would work for your application...
This sounds like a group of stock market gurus debating weather the market is going to have it's next correction!
Of the previous post, I also own the SB 900.
I have the SB 700 and I feel that I made a good choice staying with Nikon.
It does not have the reach of the SB 900 but it is compatible with the
Nikon system which is important to me.
I bought an SB 700 Nikon flash from them. Ultimately it came from Adorama. The interesting thing about the invoice was how Greentoe arrived at their discounted price.
The price which Greentoe agreed to and Adorama's advertised price was about 10%. Someone else paid that amount which was added to my agreed to charge to come
up with the "Street" price from Adorama.
Unsure what is actually going on, maybe one of the Hoggers has experience with this too.
Like I was saying Bill, I am a little slow at this sometimes and the light bulb came on and realized that these higher capacity cards are over 999 and I'm sorry if I let that get passed me. I do appreciate all the help. Tom R.
Sorry guy's:
Sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees! rleonetti was absolutely correct on his thought. If you change to NEF or NEF+JPEG you now get the approximate picture count remaining.
Now I have to ask another relavent question, Is this something that is in the DNA of the new Lexar Cards and can this feature be changed to what I may have gotten used to?
Picture count using just JPEG fine.
Tom B.
I have not talked to Lexar yet but could this be that instead of giving a picture count of capacity remaining, you have a bite number instead!
Just downloaded the latest Firmware to my D750, all went well but, when I tried to reformat the SD card this number continues to show up in the control panel window. (1.3k) The SD card is a 32GB Lexar Pro HC. Used this new card after formatting it in the camera. I have tried to format in my PC and the computer indicates its formatted, the same when formatting in the camera. This 1.3k keeps showing up and the card will take pictures but the picture count remaining does not appear, only this 1.3k.
It doesn't seem to be a Nikon problem because other cards work fine. It looks like a problem with Lexar. Any feed back will be appreciated. Thanks.
It sounds like I need to plan for the D7200. I've noticed in the Tel-converter chart I would also gain some compatibility with a couple of lenses I already own over my D300. ISO, buffering and Mega Pixles aside! Thanks,
I think I've talked myself into it.
