Very interested in this lens - is it a "full frame" or "Dx" lens for crop sensor cameras? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Not sure where my reply went - data link took a dive! Colorado is my favorite place to visit. Just took a power hit now! My favorite location for photos is "Wilkerson Pass" (elev. 9507 ft) on US 24 west of Georges Lake.

I am well aware of the printer. Are the 8 color ink wells and print head still w/printer & unused? BTW, what does UPS charge to ship "GROUND" to Atlanta, GA form your location?

Thanks for the response. BTW, I have taken more pictures w/Sony HX100V than all the others combined. I just wished it had "RAW" mode. I always preferred Sony video - from old Beta, Betacam-SP (UVW-100 camera w/2 PVW 2800 broadcast quality editing decks) - they were not stolen, since each machine weighs about 50+ ibs and looks more like electronic test equipment, rather than a VCR.

I have learned more about photography on this site than any where else. I consider myself to be an enthusiast, but want to learn as much as I can. Such as, I cannot get Adobe PS10 to stitch more than 3 photos together - looks like PS converts image file to BMP (or some proprietary format) to stretch, etc. - computer says "not enough memory." Looks like the 3 converted images exceeded 650 Mbytes! What gives? PC (quad I-7 processors) has 8 GB RAM w/1 GB video card.

Thanks again for the welcome!

My name is Bruce form Sandy Springs (North Atlanta), GA and I have been following all of the discussions for over 6 months and finally decided to join. I have been playing with photography since my grandmother gave me a Kodak Holiday Flash (120 format) on my 10th birthday (still have it for sentimental reasons). Three years later, I graduated to a Century Graphic medium format w/flashgun, which was originally purchased by my grandfather who said the camera was to big and complicated (still have that camera, but flashgun was stolen 5 years ago - along w/Nikon F2 Photomic S and F3-HP). My digital introduction started w/Sony 5 Mpx P & S (took over 4000 pix's - it was taken also). Moved to a Pan Lumix FZ28, Sony HX100V and now have Nikon D600 w/kit lenses plus Sigma 150-500. The last camera I purchased is a Nikon S9700 P & S (150+ pix's playing) to pack in my computer case when I am travelling. Most of the time, I will take a heavy duty tripod (supports 25 lbs - awkward to pack, but very stable - I hope!), but I do not worry about the D600/Sigma blowing over in the wind - love the Colorado mountain landscapes! Looking for refurb/used D5300/5500 as "crop" camera for telephoto shots. BTW, I view Canon & Nikon as equals in reliability and quality.
