White House ruins and Spider Rock, my version
Late reply- I had the same problem as I very little photography out of my car and usually carry my gear in backpack for 5-10 miles. Sold my Nikon 80-400 and wanted 600mm reach looked at Tamron 150-600, great lens but not light. I settled for the Sony RX10lll w/1" sensor and 600mm reach. Nice results hand held no tripod.
I really like my Sony RX10lll especially for the telephoto shots, but still keeping my 7200 Nikon for landscape shots.
Couple of recent shots at 600mm from about a 1/4 mi. w/ substantial crops.
Beautiful set! Very sharp!
Great set,I especially like the first one!
Yes, the clouds make the shot
Didn't see any stayed on boardwalks
Yes, I tried to accent the clouds
Paynes Prairie, Gainesville FL. @24mm Sony RX10lll
Lower Antelope Canyon tour which I prefer over the upper Canyon which I found less interesting and more crowded.
2nd photo "sand fall"
I have been looking for a solution to camera gear weight problem. I do most of my photography backpacking my gear doin 2 to 8 miles hikes and the weight of 400mm telephoto, 2 additional lenses, tripod, etc. was hard to handle.
Solution for me was the RX10lll bridge camera for longer reach tele shots with 24-600mm(can be extended to 1200mm)
Including some hand held shots at 600mm, third shot pushed to 1200mm.
Thanks, good to know, wasn't aware of the digital zoom
