This was a center/right country when B.O. took office.....He and the rest of his demosocialists are so far out in "left field" now that it looks to them as if the GOP has moved far right . They are in the same place they have always been...not that that is such a good thing. TERM LIMITS for all...one six yr term and out!

Congrats on going to the Gator Nats.... If possible go to the event the first day when there are fewer people at the event...I shot the Monterey Motorsport Reunion last year on Friday before the actual races on Sat & Sun after getting that advice from a pro who had shot the event many times before.Practice or qualifying will still give you on track shots...and with fewer people around. Usually NHRA national events are 3 or 4 day events so check for track access on Thursday or Friday...Good Luck and post some!

My dad had a '58 Impala that was blue. My car that I met my wife in was a 1954 Yellow Ford Crestliner convertible. Wis I could find a model kit for one. Been looking for years, guess they don't make it.

By they way, nice job on the model.

53 Ford convertible is available with only slight trim difference. The main difference in the real cars is that in 54 the OHV engine introduced to replace the flathead. Here is a short video of the kit...

Awesome job. Very clean build.

As a member of the Houston Automotive Modelers Society for over 20 yrs, I also have an interest in the model building hobby.

I also had a 1:1 58 Impala..348, 3x2 brls, standard trans, tuck & roll etc,etc....

Wabbit, seems the legislation keeps comin' but the shooters keep one step ahead of 'em. Maybe there'll be a stampede to Texas. I've never understood how anyone can stay in New York - except to photograph it.

Please Don't come to Texas !!! you people screwed up NY & Calif. not to mention others so please don't come, we don't want our state screwed up too.

Too late, we're already here in force from Cali. Not to panic, however, we are the kind ya want. My son and his wife have brought even more employment opportunities here and my wife and I have mainly brought a fair amount of money, kindness and common sense. Something, I'm sorry to report, are increasingly lacking on the left coast. =)

How true. Interestingly enough, My entire clan of solid tax payers just stampeded from cali to San Antonio five months ago. Was afraid I'd hate it but to my delight, have found it to be a blessing in a host of ways. The ppl here are delightful. intelligent, courteous and demonstrating a genuine kindness i was sure no longer existed. A large part of what i recall of the month i was in NYC was the unpleasant smell and most of the ppl there were either too fearful or self-absorbed to even make eye contact. Up the Republic!

I am a native Texan, born in San Antonio and moved to Houston at age 15 and still here... The people and the
opportunities are what keeps me here. Ya'll come on down....for a visit or a move! You won't regret it.

I have a Tamron 10-24 and absolutely love it. Tack sharp and the price was right. I use it on my Canon 60D. I don't think you could go wrong with this selection. Just my opinion.

I also have the Tamron 10-24 and love it. I bought it after reading all the reviews and renting the Canon to compare....yes the Canon was a little better but not worth the price difference. Give it a look.

The petition in question has over 30,000 signatures ....
25,000 are required to allow it to be submitted, which has already taken place.
Since his comments on gun control, he has also taken shots at the constitution and the bible, calling them both"fundamentally flawed".
In London, the Brits have started a petition to stop the deportation....because they don't want him back.
He is in the US on a work visa...if he wants to badmouth these types of things, maybe he should carry his pompous ass back across the "pond".
