Wabbit, seems the legislation keeps comin' but the shooters keep one step ahead of 'em. Maybe there'll be a stampede to Texas. I've never understood how anyone can stay in New York - except to photograph it.

How true. Interestingly enough, My entire clan of solid tax payers just stampeded from cali to San Antonio five months ago. Was afraid I'd hate it but to my delight, have found it to be a blessing in a host of ways. The ppl here are delightful. intelligent, courteous and demonstrating a genuine kindness i was sure no longer existed. A large part of what i recall of the month i was in NYC was the unpleasant smell and most of the ppl there were either too fearful or self-absorbed to even make eye contact. Up the Republic!

Police here in Texas are having to carry assault weapons in their vehicles to keep up with criminals after being fired upon with these weapons.

To each to his own. I love New York and would never think of living in Texas. Texas policies on education, woman's health, gun control are the opposite of my views. NYC is a beautiful friendly city.

If you get sidetracked on the way, make it to Tennessee and you will be safe. We have already submitted legislation to make it illegal to attempt to inforce any of Obamas 19 Executive orders restricting gun ownership and use.

Federal law supercedes state law. state politicians can pass all the state laws they want but the have to enforce federal laws. Pandering to locals is called politics.

The wisdom and ability of the governor of Texas was amply displayed in the debates. What is that fourth agency?

I don't know why you say the states have to enforce Federal law. When Gov. Brewer tried it, DOJ suied her state. Oh you mean only the laws you like, like the ones that violate the 2nd and 10th amendments.

Actually you are wrong. When Sheriff Joe Arpaio tried to enforce federal immigration law he was sued by the Fed and treatened with arrest. The Arizona law was basically modeled after the Federal law that the Feds will not enforce.
